Properties of Polyvinylidene Fluoride
1) ポリフッ化ビニリデンの初期着色の原因を明らかにするため, 通常の成形温度で溶融物の示差熱分析, 熱天びん分析およびポリマーからの揮発ガスの定性および定量を行なった. その結果, 初期着色はわずかな発熱と重量損失を伴ったHFの解離反応であることを明らかにした. またポリマーの末端にCl原子を含む場合は容易にHClを遊離し, 初期着色が末端分解に関係することも明らかにした. 2) 次に初期着色の反応機構を明らかにするため, 高温熱分解と初期着色に対してそれぞれ反応の活性化エネルギーおよび次数を計算した. この結果と分子量変化の測定から初期着色反応は不均一反応の一種と考えられ, 主としてを生成することが推定された.
