Popping star clusters as building blocks of the Milky Way Thick Disc
It is widely believed that star clusters form with low star formation efficiencies. With the onset of stellar winds by massive stars or finally when the first super nova blows off, the residual gas is driven out of the embedded star cluster.

Evaluation of popping expansion traits in a maize (Zea mays L.) population
In a popcorn breeding program, the procedures and techniques used for breeding popcorn are similar to those used for breeding dent corn with some minor adjustments needed. The adjustments in popcorn breeding are due to the poorer agronomic traits performance of popcorn germplasm compared with dent corn germplasm.

A real‐world data‐driven approach to optimizing enoxaparin dosing in burn patients
Aim Enoxaparin dosing in burn patients is challenging due to physiological changes affecting absorption, distribution and clearance. The objectives of this study are to develop a population pharmacokinetic (PK) model for enoxaparin in burn patients, evaluate target attainment with current equation‐based (EQ) dosing and propose an optimized dosing ...

Abstract Aims This study aimed to develop and validate a population pharmacokinetic‐pharmacodynamic (pop‐PK‐PD) model to describe carboplatin‐induced myelosuppression in cancer patients and support dose individualization. Methods Data from 580 cancer patients treated with carboplatin at Amsterdam UMC between 2019 and 2022 were used for model ...
