High‐Entropy Cathodes for Proton‐Conducting Solid Oxide Fuel Cells: A Promising Yet Uncharted Frontier

open access: yesSusMat, EarlyView.
High‐entropy design enhances H‐SOFC cathode performance by improving ORR kinetics, yet understanding its mechanisms, rational composition selection, and long‐term stability remain critical challenges. ABSTRACT Proton‐conducting solid oxide fuel cells (H‐SOFCs) retain the advantages of traditional SOFCs while operating at lower temperatures, attracting ...

Microplastic Detectability Investigation in Soils Using X‐Ray Microtomography

open access: yesX-Ray Spectrometry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT X‐ray microtomography (microCT) is a promising tool for investigating microplastic (MP) contamination in soils, offering non‐destructive 3D visualization and quantitative analysis of particles embedded in complex matrices. This study evaluated its applicability by mixing plastic fragments (PET, PEHD, PS, and PP) with humus‐rich and sandy soils
