Pulsed perturbations in population dynamics

open access: yes, 2019
The dynamics of populations can be perturbed by sudden events that abruptly increase or decrease population densities. The magnitude and temporal pattern of occurrence of pulsed perturbations may interact with different components of population dynamics. In this presentation, I will explore these interactions by focusing on two kinds of perturbations, (

Effectiveness of a Telephone‐Delivered Walk With Ease Program on Arthritis‐Related Symptoms, Function, and Activity: A Randomized Trial

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Walk With Ease (WWE) is a six‐week arthritis‐appropriate evidence‐based physical activity program traditionally offered in a face‐to‐face format. Because many populations encounter participation barriers to in‐person programs, WWE was modified for telephone delivery (WWE‐T).
