Efficacy of two locally produced oxfendazole formulations for the treatment of cysticercosis in naturally infected pigs [PDF]
The efficacy of two locally produced oxfendazole (OFZ) formulations against cysticercosis at 22,5% and 10%, versus a commercial formulation (Synanthic 9,06%) was evaluated in twenty-two naturally infected pigs that received a single oral dose of 30 mg/kg.

Endothelium capture‐based liver segment imaging using vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 in preclinical ex vivo models [PDF]
Imaging of liver segments provides substantial information for surgeons when performing liver resection. The anti‐vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR) 2 antibody ramucirumab conjugated with near‐infrared dye could visualize selected liver segments using an endothelial capture‐based approach in an isolated perfusion liver model.

SANISAND‐C*: Simple ANIsotropic constitutive model for SAND with Cementation
Abstract Cemented sands exhibit superior mechanical properties compared to clean sands. Based on this evidence, ground improvement methods are increasingly employed to induce cementing reactions that can bind the solid particles of sands and other soils for the ultimate enhancement of their properties and behavior. Despite increasing ground improvement

This study investigates the feeding habits of European hake in the southern Tyrrhenian Sea. It is a clear example of inverse energy flow between mesopelagic and epipelagic biocenosis. The high occurrence of Euphausiids, Myctophids, and Sternoptychids found in gut contents of juvenile hake showed the importance of energy and organic matter from deeper ...
