Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Evaluating hydraulic parameters in clays based on in situ tests
The permeability of soil is an important factor controlling the flow of water through the subsoil. The article presents the results of studies of hydraulic parameters for overconsolidated clays using in situ tests.

We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,

PORE WATER PRESSURE GENERATION AND DISSIPATION NEAR TO PILE AND FAR-FIELD IN LIQUEFIABLE SOILS
The degree of liquefaction as characterised by the excess pore water pressure plays an important role in defining soil strength and stiffness. The pile-soil interaction in liquefiable soil, if modelled using BNWF model, the strength and stiffness of the soil springs can be suitably reduced by using a reduction factor.

Elasto-plasticity and pore-pressure coupled analysis on the pullout behaviors of a plate anchor
A numerical method is proposed for the elasto-plasticity and pore-pressure coupled analysis on the pullout behaviors of a plate anchor. The bounding-surface plasticity (BSP) model combined with Biot’s consolidation theory is employed to simulate the ...
