Pore water pressure in natural slopes

International Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics, 1981
AbstractEstimating subsurface pore water pressures in natural slopes along the periphery of rivers and reservoirs for future conditions, created by the operational requiremets to meet increases in energy demand from the observed data of the past and present, operations, is possible with the use of a mathematical model.

Movement of Pore Water, and Abnormally High Pore Pressures

1981
The distinction between ground water and pore water may not be very logical, but it has the merit of distinguishing the readily-exploitable fresher pore water near the surface from the brackish to salty water in the pore spaces of most sedimentary rocks at greater depth.
