Mechanical characterization of porous asphalt mixes modified with fatty acid amides -FAA-
Porous asphalt mixes (PAM), form a special road surface for asphalt pavement structures, have a special particle size distribution that lets infiltrate to the runoff storm water through of it because of its voids content about 20 %.

Hard carbon is a promising anode for sodium‐ion batteries, yet its Na+ storage mechanism remains elusive. This review summarizes Na+ storage behavior in hard carbon from first‐principles (DFT) calculations, establishes structure–function relationships, summarizes DFT‐based evaluation methods, and provides perspectives for the rational theoretical ...

DURABILITY OF POROUS ASPHALT PAVEMENT
This work describes a research study for evaluating the durability performance of open-graded asphalt materials in terms of accelerated aging, moisture damage and permanent deformation. Such asphalt mixes have high porosity, which offers significantly better drainage properties than normal mix designs.

Terrestrial Analogs to Titan for Geophysical Research
Abstract Saturn's moon Titan exhibits remarkable parallels to the Earth in many geophysical and geological processes not found elsewhere in the solar system at the present day. These include a nitrogen atmosphere with a condensible gas—methane—replacing the Earth's water, leading to an active meteorology with rainfall and surface manifestations ...
