Various applications of porous electrodes are described and their usefulness in electro‐oxidations and reductions, both organic and inorganic, is discussed. Three processes are considered in detail : electrowinning of copper, production of p‐nitraniline, and oxidation of arsenite to arsenate with accessory air depolarization at the cathode.

Zein‐Based Adhesives: Sustainable Extraction and Application in Bioadhesive Technologies
Zein is extracted from corn gluten meal using a simple and scalable process with high yield (~90%). The resulting protein is applied in bioadhesives modified with Ca2+ and Fe3+ ions, exhibiting substrate‐dependent adhesion. The findings demonstrate competitive bonding performance and highlight the role of ionic interactions in tuning adhesion ...

Electrostatic‐Assisted Liquefaction of Porous Carbons
AbstractPorous liquids are a newly developed porous material that combine unique fluidity with permanent porosity, which exhibit promising functionalities for a variety of applications. However, the apparent incompatibility between fluidity and permanent porosity makes the stabilization of porous nanoparticle with still empty pores in the dense liquid ...
