Stable Zinc-Based Metal-Organic Framework Photocatalyst for Effective Visible-Light-Driven Hydrogen Production

open access: yesMolecules, 2022
Herein, a new Zn-MOF material, [Zn(L1)(L2)], 1, was built successfully through a one-pot solvothermal method. The 3D MOF structure was determined by Single X-ray diffraction analysis, IR, and elemental analysis.

Advances in metal–organic frameworks and their derivatives for diverse electrocatalytic applications

open access: yesElectrochemistry Communications, 2021
Oxygen evolution reaction (OER), hydrogen evolution reaction (HER), oxygen reduction reaction (ORR), nitrogen reduction reaction (NRR), and carbon dioxide reduction reaction (CO2RR) are five major reactions in the progress, conversion, and storage of ...

Spontaneously formed porous and composite materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
In recent years, a number of routes to porous materials have been developed which do not involve the use of pre-formed templates or structure-directing agents. These routes are usually spontaneous, meaning they are thermodynamically downhill.

Synthesis of porous silicates [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
The issues of importance and future concern in the synthesis of porous silicates and porous materials that contain a large fraction of silica, e.g. zeolites and other crystalline molecular sieves, are reviewed. The thermodynamics of zeolite synthesis are

Porous Materials

open access: yes, 2010
In the past few decades, the increasingly routine use of advanced structural probes for studying the structure and dynamics of the solid state has led to some dramatic developments in the field of porous solids. These materials are fundamental in a diverse range of applications, such as shape-selective catalysts for energy-efficient organic ...

Catalytic Degradation of Triphenylmethane Dyes with an Iron Porphyrin Complex as a Cytochrome P450 Model

open access: yesMolecules, 2023
The organic dyes used in printing and dyeing wastewater have complex components, diverse structures and strong chemical stability, which make them not suitable for treatment and difficult to degrade in the environment.

Acoustical properties of double porosity granular materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Granular materials have been conventionally used for acoustic treatment due to their sound absorptive and sound insulating properties. An emerging field is the study of the acoustical properties of multiscale porous materials.

Cooperative Sorption on Porous Materials [PDF]

open access: yesLangmuir, 2021
The functional shape of a sorption isotherm is determined by underlying molecular interactions. However, doubts have been raised on whether the sorption mechanism can be understood in principle from analyzing sorption curves via a range of competing models.

Microstructure and mechanical properties of annealed Ti−6Al−3Nb−2Zr−1Mo titanium alloys

open access: yesFenmo yejin jishu, 2021
Ti−6Al−3Nb−2Zr−1Mo alloys were prepared by forging and annealing at 980 ℃. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the annealed alloys on the different sections were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electron back-scattered ...
