Abstract While multiple factors explain low adoption rates of improved varieties by small‐scale farmers in sub‐Saharan Africa, a key supply‐side constraint is the limited availability of seed embodying new traits in the volume, quality, price, and timeliness required by farmers. Mean-Variance-Skewness-Entropy Measures: A Multi-Objective Approach for Portfolio Selection
In this study, we present a multi-objective approach based on a mean-variance-skewness-entropy portfolio selection model (MVSEM). In this approach, an entropy measure is added to the mean-variance-skewness model (MVSM) to generate a well‑diversified ...

A Dithio Vinylthio C2 Synthon Enabling Crystalline and Luminescent Sulfur‐Decorated Polymers
Transforming CaC2 into a modular C2 building block enables the synthesis of α,ω‐bis(vinylthio) monomer and its conversion into crystalline, sequence‐defined sulfur‐decorated polymers. Their dense thioether clustering induces nonconventional luminescence and provides structure–function control in a more‐sustainable polymer platform.
