Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

Flux‐Regulated Crystallization of Perovskites Using Machine Learning‐Predicted Solvent Evaporation Rates for X‐Ray Detectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
By integrating machine learning into flux‐regulated crystallization (FRC), accurate prediction of solvent evaporation rates in real time, improving crystallization control and reducing crystal growth variability by over threefold, is achieved. This enhances the reproducibility and quality of perovskite single crystals, leading to reproducible ...

The margin is where everything starts and everything ends . A. Dasilva O. Speaks to the country through Rádio Caos

open access: yesTravessias, 2020
In the mid-1980s, Porto began to open to the cultural, musical, and aesthetic change announced by (post)-modernism. Resistance - and the search for the new - also began to make itself felt through radio programmes, fanzines, concerts, and bulletins ...

Propagation and stability of optical pulses in a diffractive dispersive non-linear medium [PDF]

open access: yes, 1992
Propagation and stability of light pulses under the combined influence of the optical Kerr effect, dispersion and diffraction are investigated by adopting a variational procedure. In particular, it is found that 'light bullets', i.e.

A 3D Bioprinted Spheroid‐Laden dECM‐Enriched Osteosarcoma Model for Enhanced Drug Testing and Therapeutic Discovery

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
A 3D biomimetic OS model was developed by bioprinting an OS‐cell‐derived dECM‐enriched bioink with OS spheroids incorporated. The model showed upregulation of known OS prognostic markers and increased resistance to doxorubicin, compared to 2D cultures and scaffold‐free spheroids, making this a more clinically relevant platform for drug discovery ...

Ionic Liquid‐Enhanced 3D Printed Flexible Resin for Pressure‐Sensing Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A 3D‐printed resin–ionic liquid (IL) composite forms gyroid ionotronic architectures showing dynamic ionic migration under compression. Impedance analysis reveals distinct frequency responses across three topologies at high IL concentrations.
