Morska cvjetnica Posidonia oceanica [PDF]
, 2011 U Republici Hrvatskoj vrsta Posidonia oceanica ima status osjetljive i potencijalno ugrožene biljne vrste. Morska cvjetnica P. oceanica je endem Sredozemnog mora te je zaštićena u Francuskoj 1988. godine a u Španjolskoj 1992. godine. Slovenija ju je proglasila rijetkom i ugroženom vrstom 2002. godine.
