Measuring Sphericity in Positive Semi-Definite Matrices
The measure of sphericity for positive semi-definite matrices plays a crucial role in understanding their geometric properties, especially in high-dimensional settings.

Intrinsic data depth for Hermitian positive definite matrices
Nondegenerate covariance, correlation and spectral density matrices are necessarily symmetric or Hermitian and positive definite. The main contribution of this paper is the development of statistical data depths for collections of Hermitian positive ...

Transporting positive definiteness
AbstractThis is a rough guide to the topic which might be worthy to develop further on. Expanding positive definiteness beyond its presupposed scope is intriguing due to a number of possible applications. The paper though looking at the first glance a little bit sketchy may provide a basis for further research.

Objective We aimed to estimate the prevalence and cumulative incidence of hydroxychloroquine retinopathy (HCQ‐R) and its risk factors among patients receiving long‐term HCQ with rheumatic diseases through a systematic review and meta‐analysis of observational studies that used spectral‐domain optical coherence tomography (SD‐OCT) for screening ...

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

We extend F. Holland's definition of the space of resonant classes of functions, on the real line, to the space R(Φpq) (1≦p, q≦∞) of resonant classes of measures, on locally compact abelian groups.

Q-space trajectory imaging with positivity constraints (QTI+)
Q-space trajectory imaging (QTI) enables the estimation of useful scalar measures indicative of the local tissue structure. This is accomplished by employing generalized gradient waveforms for diffusion sensitization alongside a diffusion tensor ...

Predicting Atomic Charges in MOFs by Topological Charge Equilibration
An atomic charge prediction method is presented that is able to accurately reproduce ab‐initio‐derived reference charges for a large number of metal–organic frameworks. Based on a topological charge equilibration scheme, static charges that fulfill overall neutrality are quickly generated.
