Stability of solutions for nonlinear nonautonomous differential-delay equations in Hilbert spaces
We consider nonlinear non-autonomous differential-delay equations having separated linear and sublinear parts. We assume that the Green functions of the linear part is selfadjoint and positive definite to obtain solution estimates, explicit conditions ...

Distinct Prescription Patterns Emerge Years Before ALS Diagnosis: A Nationwide Registry‐Based Study
Objective The prodromal phase of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is poorly defined. We aimed to characterize prescription drug use patterns in the pre‐diagnostic period by analyzing nationwide prescription data to identify the earliest divergence between individuals who developed ALS and matched healthy controls.

Error bounds for numerical differentiation using kernels of finite smoothness
We provide improved error bounds for kernel-based numerical differentiation in terms of growth functions when kernels are of a finite smoothness, such as polyharmonic splines, thin plate splines or Wendland kernels.

Mathematical Genesis of the Spatio-Temporal Covariance Functions [PDF]
Obtaining new and flexible classes of nonseparable spatio-temporal covariances have resulted in a key point of research in the last years within the context of spatiotemporal Geostatistics.

Objective SOD1 is the second most frequently mutated gene in European patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Given the recent authorization of SOD1‐targeted antisense oligonucleotides for SOD1‐ALS, prompt screening for SOD1 mutations in patients with ALS patients is highly recommended.

Objective The objective of this study was to examine whether machine learning has the capacity to prospectively identify and predict the emergence of Fragile X‐associated tremor/ataxia syndrome (FXTAS) among male fragile X premutation carriers (PCs). Methods We explored neuropsychological and motor evaluation metrics, brain magnetic resonance imaging ...

ABSTRACT In this study, the actual route of methylene blue (MB) dye adsorption by using fabricated polyfunctional activated carbon–copper oxide nanowires (AC@CuO‐NWs) from bulky wastewater bodies has been investigated. To better understand the exact pathway of the adsorption process, a prominent statistical physics formalism or grand canonical ...

Fundamental Solution of Laplace's Equation in Hyperspherical Geometry
Due to the isotropy of d-dimensional hyperspherical space, one expects there to exist a spherically symmetric fundamental solution for its corresponding Laplace-Beltrami operator.

Abstract The Pleistocene is a key period for understanding the evolutionary history and palaeobiogeography of the European rabbit (Oryctolagus cuniculus). The species was first documented in southeastern Iberia at the beginning of the Middle Pleistocene and appears to have rapidly spread throughout Southwestern Europe, where it was found in numerous ...
