Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

Equilibrium positions of acoustically levitated spheres [PDF]
Measurements of the equilibrium position of levitated, low-density spheres in air were made in a rectangular resonant system as a function of acoustic pressure. Vertical acoustic forces were generated by two opposing JBL compression drivers exciting the fundamental plane-wave mode at 1.2 kHz.
