Asymptotic lifts of positive linear maps [PDF]
We show that the notion of asymptotic lift generalizes naturally to normal positive maps $ϕ$ acting on von Neumann algebras M. We focus on cases in which the domain of the asymptotic lift can be embedded as an operator subsystem of M, and characterize when that subsystem is a Jordan subalgebra of M in terms of the asymptotic multiplicative properties ...

Complete positivity of mapping valued linear maps
We consider the matrix order structure of ordered Banach space. This notion is an extended version of the order structure of a \(C^ *\)- algebra or a predual of von Neumann algebra induced by the cone of its positive elements. Corresponding to the case that the associated algebra is abelian, we introduce the notion, a matrix ordered Banach space of ...

Positive linear maps and perturbation bounds of matrices
We show how positive unital linear maps can be used to obtain lower bounds for the maximum distance between the eigenvalues of two normal matrices. Some related bounds for the spread and condition number of Hermitian matrices are also discussed here.

Reverses of Ando’s and Hölder–McCarty’s inequalities
In this paper, we give some reverse-types of Ando’s and Hölder–McCarthy’s inequalities for positive linear maps, and positive invertible operators. For this purpose, we use a recently improved Young inequality and its reverse.

Extreme n-positive linear maps [PDF]
In this article we prove that if a completely positive linear map Φ of a unital C*-algebra A into another B with only finite dimensional irreducible representations is pure, then we have NΦ = Φker + kerΦ, where NΦ={x∈A|Φ(x) = 0}, Φker = {x∈A|Φ(x*x) = 0}, and kerΦ={x∈A|Φ(xx*) = 0}.

We show that the existence of a surjective isometry (which is merely a distance preserving map) between the unitary groups of unital C*-algebras implies the existence of a Jordan *-isomorphism between the algebras.

Effect of regulatory architecture on broad versus narrow sense heritability. [PDF]
Additive genetic variance (VA ) and total genetic variance (VG ) are core concepts in biomedical, evolutionary and production-biology genetics. What determines the large variation in reported VA /VG ratios from line-cross experiments is not well ...

Spectral conditions for positive maps [PDF]
We provide a partial classification of positive linear maps in matrix algebras which is based on a family of spectral conditions. This construction generalizes celebrated Choi example of a map which is positive but not completely positive.

Sector operator inequalities involving positive linear maps
In this note, we prove the pth power ( p ≥ 2 $p\geq 2$ ) of two new sector operator inequalities for positive linear maps which are due to Bedrani et al. (Positivity 25:1601-1629, 2021) and Nasiri (Filomat 38:3429-3438, 2024), respectively.
