Gabpα‐Pparγ Complex Determines Glycolytic Capacity and Lactic Acid Homeostasis in Brown Fat

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies the Gabpα–Pparγ complex as a key transcriptional regulator that couples glycolysis to lactate‐driven thermogenesis in brown adipose tissue by directly activating Eno1 transcription. ‌Competitive disruption of this interaction impairs lactate metabolism and thermogenic capacity.

Estimation of activity of administered 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose by measurement of the dose equivalent rate on the right temporal region of the head

open access: yesEJNMMI Physics, 2016
Background Positron emission tomography (PET) with 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) is now a routine procedure for the management of cancer patients. Intravenous administration of FDG is sometimes halted due to troubles. In such cases, estimations of the FDG

Structure‐Function Integration in 2D Hybrid Perovskite for Fast Neutron and Gamma Ray Discrimination

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Using an in situ seed‐assisted cooling method, large (28 × 7 × 3 mm3) (GABA)2PbBr4 single crystals are grown, featuring hydrogen‐rich organic layers and a dense PbBr4 framework. This architecture enables efficient γ‐ray absorption, fast‐neutron sensitivity, and clear n/γ pulse‐shape discrimination (FOM up to 1.74), highlighting its potential as a ...

Photon correlations in positron annihilation

open access: yes, 2010
The two-photon positron annihilation density matrix is found to separate into a diagonal center of energy factor implying maximally entangled momenta, and a relative factor describing decay.
