Triply differential data are presented for the 200 eV positron and electron impact ionization of argon. Six electron emission energies between 2.6 and 19 eV, and for scattering angles of 2, 3, and 4 degrees cover a momentum transfer range of 0.16 to 0.31

Current imaging techniques in large vessel vasculitis
Instrumental imaging modalities play an important role in the diagnosis, evaluation of treatment efficacy and early detection of recurrences in patients with large vessel systemic vasculitis (SV). There’s no currently available universal imaging modality

Positron Processes in the Sun [PDF]
Positrons play a major role in the emission of solar gamma-rays at energies from a few hundred keV to >1 GeV. Although the processes leading to positron production in the solar atmosphere are well known, the origin of the underlying energetic particles that interact with the ambient particles is poorly understood.

Formation of antihydrogen beams from positron–antiproton interactions
The formation of a beam of antihydrogen atoms when antiprotons pass through cold, dense positron plasmas is simulated for various plasma properties and antiproton injection energies.

Anomalous magnetic moment of the positronium ion
We determine the gyromagnetic factor of the positronium ion, a three-body system consisting of two electrons and a positron, including first relativistic corrections. We find that the g -factor is modified by a term $-0.51\left( 1 \right){{\alpha }^{2}}$

Positrons in surface physics [PDF]
Within the last decade powerful methods have been developed to study surfaces using bright low-energy positron beams. These novel analysis tools exploit the unique properties of positron interaction with surfaces, which comprise the absence of exchange interaction, repulsive crystal potential and positron trapping in delocalized surface states at low ...

Relativistic Ionization of Hydrogen Atoms by Positron Impact
Relativistic triple differential cross-sections (TDCS) for ionization of hydrogen atoms by positron impact have been calculated in the symmetric coplanar geometry. We have used Dirac wave functions to describe free electron’s and positron’s sates.
