Preparation and characterization of an acrylated‐coumarin‐containing photo‐crosslinked thiol‐ene network: Investigation of the free‐volume, thermal, UV, and photoluminescence properties

open access: yesPolymer Engineering &Science, Volume 65, Issue 4, Page 1949-1960, April 2025.
Acrylated coumarin‐containing polymeric films were UV‐cured via a thiol‐ene click reaction. Free volume properties were analyzed using PALS both below and above Tg. A‐Coumarin additives reduced segmental mobility, lowering free volume fraction and raising Tg.

Anomalous magnetic moment of the positronium ion

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2014
We determine the gyromagnetic factor of the positronium ion, a three-body system consisting of two electrons and a positron, including first relativistic corrections. We find that the g -factor is modified by a term $-0.51\left( 1 \right){{\alpha }^{2}}$

Optically excited states in positronium [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
Optical excitation are reported of the 1 3S-2 3P transition in positronium, and a second excitation from n=2 to higher n states. The experiment used light from two pulsed dye lasers. Changes in the positronium annihilation rate during and after the laser

Positronium and quantum electrodynamics

open access: yes, 1982
Experimental tests of quantum electrodynamics using positronium are reviewed. These tests include measurements of the ground state hyperfine structure, excited state fine structure, and the annihilation decay rates of positronium.

Positronium ionisation in collision with He atoms [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
Positronium is the lightest known atom, consisting of an electron and its antiparticle the positron. Because of its light mass (comparable with that of the electron and positron, rather than conventional atoms), recoil effects are expected to play an ...

Positron-Positronium Converters in Reflection and Transmission Geometry for Gravitational Experiments with Antihydrogen using Moiré Deflectometry

open access: yes
In the context of the Antihydrogen Experiment: Gravity, Interferometry, Spectroscopy (AEgIS) located at CERN, positron-positronium converters with a high positron-positronium conversion efficiency have been designed in both reflection and transmission ...

Positronium emission from mesoporous silica studied by laser-enhanced time-of-flight spectroscopy

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2015
The use of mesoporous silica films for the production and study of positronium (Ps) atoms has become increasingly important in recent years, providing a robust source of free Ps in vacuum that may be used for a wide variety of experiments, including ...

Velocity-selected production of 23S metastable positronium [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Positronium in the 2S3 metastable state exhibits a low electrical polarizability and a long lifetime (1140 ns), making it a promising candidate for interferometry experiments with a neutral matter-antimatter system.
