Targeting the PDK1/c‐Myc/SOX10 Signaling in Oligodendrocytes Alleviates Neuropathic Pain
This work reveals that oligodendrocyte homeostasis, mediated by PDK1, is a critical determinant of neuropathic pain (NPP) pathogenesis. Disruption of PDK1 in oligodendrocytes impairs SOX10‐dependent myelination programs through c‐Myc accumulation, leading to disrupted myelination and the pathophysiology of NPP.

Neuronal PKM2‐driven glycolysis generates excess lactate that triggers histone H3K18 lactylation (H3K18la), establishing a pathogenic metabolic‐epigenetic axis in epilepsy. Elevated H3K18la enriches the Cop1 promoter, transcriptionally upregulating the E3 ubiquitin ligase COP1, which subsequently drives proteasomal degradation of GABAARβ2 and impairs ...

Ru–Mn composite nanozymes are engineered to mimic dual‐enzyme cascade catalysis, enabling efficient ROS clearance and neuroinflammation suppression. In collagenase‐ and autologous blood‐induced ICH mouse models, intranasal and intravenous administration reduced hematoma volume, preserved BBB integrity, and improved neurological recovery.

Vasopressin and post-traumatic stress disorder
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a debilitating psychiatric condition with a wide range of behavioral disturbances and serious consequences for both patient and society. One of the main reasons for unsuccessful therapies is insufficient knowledge about its underlying pathomechanism.

An activity‐dependent pathway links prefrontal circuit hypoactivity to cognitive impairment. Reduced PVA–mPFC activity upregulates NEPAS, which suppresses PTX3 secretion, leading to impaired angiogenesis, myelin deficits, and memory decline. Rescue is achieved by NEPAS knockdown or chemogenetic circuit activation.

Mesenchymal stromal cells (MSCs) show promise for treating immune‐related disorders through immunomodulation and tissue regeneration. This review gives a brief overview of current clinical approval of MSC therapies. It also discussed how bioengineering, including genetic modification, biomaterial delivery, extracellular vesicles, and iPSC‐derived MSCs,

Post-traumatic stress disorder: a reappraisal [PDF]
It is virtually impossible nowadays to study a medicolegal report prepared by a psychiatrist or psychologist instructed on behalf of a plaintiff in personal injury litigation which does not conclude that he or she is suffering from posttraumatic stress disorder.

Glaucoma, a major cause of blindness, involves retinal ganglion cell (RGC) degeneration. This study shows growth hormone‐releasing hormone receptor (GHRHR) deficiency preserves RGC survival and restores vision, unlike activation which only aids survival.
