Enhancement of surface reflectivity of fused deposition modeling parts by post-processing

Optics Communications, 2019
Abstract Fused deposition modeling (FDM) parts were enhanced by post-processing to improve surface quality. After reforming with loading and heating applied, the surface can reflect light. Hence, FDM parts with reflective surfaces fabricated from the regular FDM process can be used as optical elements.

Depositional and post-depositional processes in rock shelters of Northern Italy during the Late Pleistocene. Their paleoclimatic and paleoenvironmental significance

Quaternaire, 1990
The fill of seven rock shelters and caves (Riparo di Fumane, Grotta della Ghiacciaia, Riparo Mezzena, Riparo Tagliente. Grotta della Paina, Grotta di S. Bernardino and Grotta del Broion) located in the Veneto Region (Northern Italy) have been studied by means of geo-pedological techniques.

Physical and chemical constraints on the application of rapid thermal processing to the deposition and post-deposition processing of alternative high-k gate dielectrics

9th International Conference on Advanced Thermal Processing of Semiconductors, RTP 2001, 2002
This paper discusses the amorphous morphology and electronic structure of elemental and binary oxides that have been proposed as alternative gate dielectrics for advanced Si CMOS devices. Based on fundamental aspects of amorphous morphology and electronic structure, binary alloys comprised of transition metal and rare earth oxides such as Zr(Hf)O/sub 2/

Understanding the Post Depositional Bone Modification Processes: an Actualistic Approach

2006
Animal bones comprise a significant segment of the archaeological record. However, they undergo major biostratinomic and diagenetic alterations caused by physical, biological and cultural agents over a period of thousands of years from the time of the organism’s death to its recovery in a skeletal form in an excavation. Among various biological factors,

Origin and Modification of Magnetic Fabric in Fine-Grained Detrital Sediment by Depositional and Post-Depositional Processes

1993
Abstract Glacio-lacustrine varved clay of late Wisconsinan age in western New York has stable remanent magnetization and anisotropic magnetic susceptibility (AMS). Remanence is carried by interacting single-domain grains of magnetite, but coarse multidomain grains of magnetite are also present.
