Pediatric post‐dural puncture headache and paraplegia
Headache: The Journal of Head and Face PainAbstract A cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak developed in a 14‐year‐old girl and a 12‐year‐old boy following a diagnostic lumbar puncture. Two days and sixteen years later, respectively, paraplegia developed due to a functional disorder.

Its incidence is reported to be as high as 70 %. Its etiology is a loss of cerebrospinal fluid, which can be minimized among other things by the use of small gauge needles.
