The Fixed W Arch for Correction of Posterior Crossbites in Children

A modified W arch can be used to treat children who have posterior crossbites that have been correctly diagnosed. A careful orthodontic evaluation should be made before treatment is undertaken. A modification of the prosthesis, with a removable lingual arch, can be made if the possibility of a future adjustment exists.
