Isometry of the Posterior Cruciate Ligament
The effects of functional load and muscle force application on isometry of the posterior cruciate ligament were determined. Eight fresh-frozen cadaver knees were mounted in a custom-designed rig.

Objective We employed global genetic deletion of CD14 and intra‐articular CD14 blockade across multiple murine osteoarthritis (OA) models that vary in severity of pathology and rate of progression to test the hypothesis that CD14 inhibition attenuates synovial inflammation and associated pain during disease progression.

Objective To identify autoantibodies in presymptomatic individuals that associate with the onset of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and to distinguish early RA from osteoarthritis (OA), particularly in individuals lacking classic RA serologic markers. Methods We analyzed serum and plasma from three cohorts: presymptomatic individuals who later developed RA ...

Multiple ligament knee injuries are complex pathologies that often result from traumatic knee dislocations. Both a high level of suspicion and a thorough clinical and radiographic examination are mandatory to diagnose and identify all injured structures.

Abstract The addition of a lateral extra‐articular procedure to anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction has been shown to improve rotational stability and reduce graft failure rates, particularly in high‐risk patients. However, tunnel convergence remains a major concern in combined anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and lateral extra‐articular

Abstract This article describes a surgical technique for skeletally immature patients with tibial eminence fractures of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) insertion. Owing to the distinct anatomical characteristics in skeletally immature patients compared with adults, we arthroscopically implanted a three hybrid anchor construct into the posterior ...

Abstract Lateral extra‐articular tenodesis has emerged as a valuable adjunct to anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction for mitigating residual rotational instability. We describe a modified lateral extra‐articular tenodesis technique utilizing an all‐suture knotless anchor with suture tape, which provides strong, flexible fixation with reduced soft ...

Abstract Concomitant injuries are often present in the knee affected by anterior cruciate ligament injuries. Certain injuries are routinely identified, whereas others may be inadvertently neglected. Such injuries include lesions to the posteromedial meniscocapsular‐extra‐articular attachments.
