Case 25: Open Globe Injury with Posterior Foreign Body
2018A 53-year-old man presented with 3-week delay of a self-sealed Zone 1 open globe injury with a retained intraocular foreign body of the right eye. The patient underwent intraocular foreign body removal via pars plana vitrectomy. The post-operative follow up was complicated with recurrent retinal detachment from the original strike site.
