Influence of Geopolitical Risk on Energy Transition and Climate Change
ABSTRACT Geopolitical tensions can influence energy transition, which, in turn, can impact climate change. Thus, we construct a framework that integrates these processes, analyzing 17 economies from 1990 to 2020 using a GVAR model. We hypothesize that geopolitical risk shocks affect economies through domestic financial markets.

Finite-horizon quantile martingale posteriors: raw-urn laws and matrix-gain regression
Martingale posteriors quantify uncertainty by forward-imputing observations from one-step-ahead predictive distributions, but implementations stop after finitely many imputations. For the empirical Pólya-urn posterior of a quantile the law of the stopped state is derived.

Kaplan–Meier hypertension‐free survival by baseline body mass index category, primary adult cohort (men aged ≥ 18 years, n = 12,742). Time since baseline in years is plotted on the horizontal axis and the probability of remaining free of treated hypertension is plotted on the vertical axis. Numbers at risk are shown beneath the plot.

A Note on Implementing Box-Cox Quantile Regression [PDF]
The Box-Cox quantile regression model using the two stage method suggested by Chamberlain (1994) and Buchinsky (1995) provides a flexible and numerically attractive extension of linear quantile regression techniques.

Prefrontal Planning Latency Associated With Age and Serological Evidence of Microbial Exposure
Planning latency versus age by group. Scatterplot showing individual observations (n = 53) stratified by fibromyalgia status. LOESS smoothing curves with 95% confidence intervals (shaded regions) illustrate the relationship within each group. Overall, rₛ = 0.394 (p = 0.003).

Copula‐based joint modelling of emergency department visits with time‐varying dependence
Abstract Jointly modelling multiple correlated count time series is essential in health services research, where outcomes like emergency visits for mental health and substance use often evolve together. Ignoring these dependencies can obscure meaningful trends and limit the effectiveness of policy evaluation.

Vine copula knockoffs for variable selection in gene expression studies
Abstract Identifying clinical and genetic markers is essential for stratifying cancer patients by survival outcomes and guiding personalized treatment strategies. However, gene expression studies often involve high‐dimensional predictors with mixed data types and complex dependence, which complicates reliable variable selection.

Abstract Homogeneous normalized random measures with independent increments represent a broad class of Bayesian nonparametric priors and thus are widely used. In this article, we obtain the strong law of large numbers, the central limit theorem (CLT), and the functional central limit theorem (fCLT) of such measures when the concentration parameter a ...

Sparse maximum likelihood estimation of regression models
Abstract For regression model selection and estimation, we study a small set of candidate models of maximum likelihood from which all information criteria such as the Akaike information criterion (AIC) and the Bayesian information criterion (BIC) choose their models.

A Consistent Nonparametric Test for Causality in Quantile [PDF]
This paper proposes a nonparametric test of causality in quantile. Zheng (1998) has proposed an idea to reduce the problem of testing a quantile restriction to a problem of testing a particular type of mean restriction in independent data.
