An origami worm‐inspired robot achieves multimodal locomotion in confined pipelines through mechatronic integration that embeds actuation, control, and communication within each origami module. Large, reversible configuration and dimensional changes enable 25 gaits synthesized by a unified framework across peristaltic, inchworm, and wheel‐rolling modes

Estimation of postmortem interval based on the spectrophotometric analysis of postmortem lividity
Legal Medicine, 2010The color of postmortem lividity and control skin in 21 adult cadavers whose postmortem interval was within 72h, was measured by spectrophotometry in order to estimate the postmortem interval, objectively. The L *a *b * system, which has been widely used for the digital expression of skin color, was used and linear regression analysis was performed to ...

Estimation of postmortem interval using thanatochemistry and postmortem changes
AbstractIntroductionEstimation of postmortem interval is an important goal in forensic medicine. After death, many physiochemical changes occur in a regular sequence and can be used to arrive at an approximate time of death. Thanatochemistry is the chemistry of death.

Estimation of the postmortem interval by chemical means
The American Journal of Forensic Medicine and Pathology, 1980The literature is reviewed regarding estimation of the postmortem interval (PMI) by chemical analysis of cadaver fluids. The most useful measurements on blood and CSF are amino nitrogen, nonprotein nitrogen, ammonia, creatine, and inorganic phosphate; these have some value in the early PMI.
