Prolotherapy in the Treatment of Knee Osteoarthritis: How to Perform
Abstract The conservative treatment of knee osteoarthritis is a challenge; since it has no cure, many patients do not want or cannot undergo surgical procedures. Among the various options, we have injectable therapies, especially the so‐called “regenerative,” such as the use of hyaluronic acid, orthobiologicals, and prolotherapy. In the latter, its use

Fresh Talus Allograft Preparation for the Treatment of a Large Off‐Track Hill‐Sachs Lesion
Abstract Large off‐track Hill‐Sachs lesions present a significant challenge in the management of recurrent anterior shoulder instability, particularly in young, active patients. Traditional Hill‐Sachs management procedures include remplissage, coracoid transfer and free bone block reconstruction, which all carry associated limitations, including non ...

Arthroscopic Repair of the Anterior Root of the Lateral Meniscus Using Knotless All‐Suture Anchors
Abstract Anterior root tears of the lateral meniscus are uncommon but can significantly disrupt knee biomechanics by increasing contact pressures and accelerating cartilage degeneration if left untreated. This article describes an arthroscopic technique for repair of the anterior root of the lateral meniscus using all‐suture anchors.

Abstract Patellar instability commonly affects adolescents and young athletes and is associated with injury to the medial patellofemoral ligament (MPFL). MPFL reconstruction is a well‐established treatment for recurrent instability; however, complications related to graft tensioning, fixation, and incomplete restoration of medial soft‐tissue restraints

Meniscal Substitution With a Semitendinosus Tendon Autograft
Abstract The menisci play a critical role in load transmission and shock absorption and serve as important secondary stabilizers of the knee. Unfortunately, meniscal repair is not always feasible, and resection may be required. Meniscal allograft transplantation is an established method of meniscal substitution; however, its use remains limited by ...
