The Accuracy of the Titrimetric Determination of Zinc with Potassium Ferrocyanide [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
application/pdfWhen zinc sulfate solution was titrated directly with potassium ferrocyanide, using diphenylamine as an indicator, equivalent point could not entirely be found owing to the gradual discoloration of the blue.

Adsorption from Salt Solutions by Colloidal Copper Ferrocyanide [PDF]

open access: yes, 1924
In order to compare the two views as to the cause of the acidity developed when a soil is treated with a neutral salt solution (selective adsorption and base exchange theories) colloidal copper ferrocyanide was treated with different salt solutions of ...

Hyper‐Intense Tumor Peripheral Accumulation of Antibody‐Conjugated Iron Oxide Nanoparticles can Enable Breast Cancer Detection by Magnetic Particle Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tumor‐associated inflammation retains antibody‐targeted or non‐specific antibody conjugated nanoparticles within the tumor microenvironment. Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) enables non‐invasive detection and differentiation of tumors from other organs, owing to higher nanoparticle retention by inflammatory cells in the tumor periphery.

Synthetic Shewanella‐Bacillus Microbial Consortia for Enhanced Metal Oxide Leaching From Spent Lithium‐Ion Batteries Using Brewing Wastewater as Leaching Agent

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A recycling approach of spent lithium‐ion batteries is developed using brewing wastewater as the leaching agent and an engineering microbial consortium as the biocatalyst. Shewanella oneidensis reduces spent LiNixCoyMn1‐x‐yO2 cathodes via extracellular electron transfer, while Bacillus subtilis removes residual ethanol to eliminate inhibition.

Analytical Study and Experimental Validation of Copper II Sulfate and Potassium Ferri/Ferrocyanide Thermocells Using Onsager Flux Equations

open access: yes, 2017
Thermocells convert heat energy directly into electrical energy through charge-transfer reactions at the electrode–electrolyte interface. To perform an analytical study on the behavior of thermocells, the Onsager flux relationship was applied to ...

AKAP1 Protects Retinal Ganglion Cells and Preserves Vision by Improving Mitochondrial and Synaptic Health in Glaucomatous Neurodegeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Intravitreal AAV2‐mediated AKAP1 restoration enhances mitochondrial fusion and biogenesis, improves bioenergetic capacity, and preserves mitochondrial integrity in glaucomatous RGCs. AKAP1 stabilizes presynaptic structure, maintaining synaptic protein expression, and limiting complement‐associated neuroinflammation.
