Bismuth Chalcogenide‐Based Photocatalysts for Nitrogen Reduction: Recent Progress and Prospects

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
Bismuth chalcogenides emerge as promising visible‐light photocatalysts for sustainable ammonia synthesis, driven by tunable electronic structures and strong N2 activation. Recent advances reveal how defects, doping and heterojunction design synergistically enhance charge separation and reactivity. Key challenges and future directions highlight pathways

Chiral Pyrazolinylidene Complexes for Asymmetric Catalysis

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
The synthesis and application of pyrazolin‐5‐ylidene NHC chiral‐at‐ruthenium catalysts is reported. The strong donating pyrazolin‐5‐ylidene ligands led to highly electron rich ruthenium complexes, which showed excellent catalytic activity and enantioselectivity in the intramolecular aziridination of an alkene.

Cellular Membrane‐Targeted Europium(III) Probe for Selective and Time‐Resolved Detection of Peroxynitrite

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
We report a cellular membrane‐targeted europium(III) probe, Eu.Chol, that enables selective, time‐resolved detection of peroxynitrite (ONOO−) at the cell membrane interface. Eu.Chol demonstrates efficient incorporation into liposomes and Jurkat cells, with minimal response to H2O2, establishing a modular platform for subcellular ONOO− sensing ...

Non‐Covalent Fluorine–Silica Anchoring of a Molecular Platinum(II) bis(NHC) Catalyst: Structure, Interface Control, and Hydrosilylation Activity

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A Pt(II) bis(NHC) complex is immobilized on mesoporous silica through directional F–Si interactions encoded in the ligand framework. Quantitative 19F{29Si} REDOR experiments and molecular dynamics simulations establish Å‐scale catalyst–support contacts and define the interfacial organization.

Synthesis and Reduction of Super‐Bulky Bis(anilido)acridanide Aluminium Complexes

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, EarlyView.
A new generation of super‐bulky bis(anilido)acridanide ligands has been developed and used in the preparation of aluminium(III) complexes. ABSTRACT Super‐bulky bis(anilido)acridanide pro‐ligands (NNNAr)H3 (NNNAr = 4,5‐bis(anilido)‐2,7,9,9‐tetramethylacridanide, anilido = NAr, Ar = DCHP, 2,6‐dicyclohexylphenyl; TCHP, 2,4,6‐tricyclohexylphenyl) have been
