The problem of solar radiation harvesting using photovoltaic (PV) plants with fixed orientation is compared with PV plants with horizontal axis tracking and vertical axis tracking. Problem of bifacial panel and of albedo is also discussed. Land occupancy and geographic potential are analyzed.
