Perovskite/silicon tandem solar cells offer efficiencies beyond 30%, yet conventional architectures face trade‐offs between optical performance and current matching. Three‐terminal tandems employing silicon back‐contact bottom cells eliminate the current‐matching constraint while minimizing optical losses, offering superior energy yield under real ...

PID Testing Method Suitable for Process Control of Solar Cells Mass Production
Voltage bias of several hundred volts which are applied between solar cells and module frames may lead to significant power losses, so-called potential-induced degradation (PID), in normal photovoltaic (PV) installations system.

This study proposes a fault diagnostic approach for photovoltaic systems using normalized DC voltage and current indices derived from routinely collected inverter and environmental data. The approach enables string‐ and array‐level fault diagnosis without additional measurement equipment and supports operation and maintenance decision‐making.

A Control Strategy With Hybrid Compressor Modeling for Electric Vehicle CO2 Heat Pump Systems
A hybrid PSO‐BP compressor sub‐model is developed and embedded in a MATLAB/Simscape physical model of a transcritical CO2 heat pump system for electric vehicles. Based on this high‐fidelity platform, a phased variable‐PTC cooperative control strategy is proposed and evaluated.

Towards robust PID-resistant SHJ modules: tuning capping layer and glass composition
Silicon heterojunction (SHJ) module technology presents certain challenges, notably the degradation of the indium tin oxide (ITO) layer, a key component of SHJ cells, due to moisture ingress into the module, which leads to sodium ion penetration.
