Vortex distribution in a confining potential [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review E, 2013
We study a model of interacting vortices in a type II superconductor. In the weak coupling limit, we constructed a mean-field theory which allows us to accurately calculate the vortex density distribution inside a confining potential.

Potential distribution theory of alchemical transfer. [PDF]

open access: yesJ Chem Phys
We present an analytical description of the Alchemical Transfer Method (ATM) for molecular binding using the Potential Distribution Theory (PDT) formalism. ATM models the binding free energy by mapping the bound and unbound states of the complex by translating the ligand coordinates.

Value distribution and potential theory

open access: yes, 2002
We describe some results of value distribution theory of holomorphic curves and quasiregular maps, which are obtained using potential theory. Among the results discussed are: extensions of Picard's theorems to quasiregular maps between Riemannian ...

Functional traits driving invasion risk and potential distribution of alien plants in oasis agroecosystems [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science
Alien invasive plants pose a significant threat to global agricultural production, with functional traits playing a critical role in their spread and establishment processes.

Human activities dominant the distribution of Kobresia pygmaea community in alpine meadow grassland in the east source region of Yellow River, China

open access: yesFrontiers in Ecology and Evolution, 2023
Kobresia pygmaea is the endemic and one of the most important species in the alpine meadow in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. It is the key stage in the management of degraded grassland, and irreversible degradation will take place after the degradation ...

Variation in the potential distribution of Agrotis ipsilon (Hufnagel) globally and in Pakistan under current and future climatic conditions

open access: yesPlant Protection Science, 2021
Agrotis ipsilon (Hufnagel) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) is a polyphagous moth species that mainly damages various crops and ornamental plants. This widely distributed pest is particularly a nuisance in Pakistan where it damages many crops, e.g., wheat and ...
