This paper will show that under certain analytic condition concerning the potential operator U of a transient Hunt process X which is in duality with a Hunt process \(\overset{\wedge }{\mathop{X}}\,\), the limit potential of a sequence of potentials which are bounded in energy and which belong to the class (D), will also belong to the class (D).

The idea of a potential energy surface
Journal of Molecular Structure: THEOCHEM, 1995Abstract The development of the idea of a potential energy surface is examined in the context of solutions to the full quantum mechanical problem specified by the Schrodinger Hamiltonian expressed in laboratory-fixed coordinates.

Pressure Conditions and Potential Energy
1986From the basic course in hydraulics we know that the pressure conditions in a stagnant pool of water is hydrostatic, which means that the pressure equals the weight of the fluid column above it. On the assumption that we are concerned with the pressure normal to the flow direction, the pressure distribution is hydrostatic here too, but now the pressure
