A Machine Learning Potential Model for Simulating Dynamic Mechanical Response of Pb-Sn Alloy
Lead is a low-melting-point metal with a complex temperature-pressure phase diagram. Alloying with tin further reduces its melting temperature, making lead-tin alloys an important model material for studying dynamic mechanical responses and failure ...

Potential Energy Curves & Material Properties
Potential energy curves govern the properties of materials. A critical analysis of the potential energy curve helps better understand the properties of the material. Potential energy curve and in turn the properties of any material depend on the composition, bonding, crystal structure, their mechanical processing and microstructure. The type, strength,

This paper proposes two projector‐based Hopfield neural network (HNN) estimators for online, constrained parameter estimation under time‐varying data, additive disturbances, and slowly drifting physical parameters. The first is a constraint‐aware HNN that enforces linear equalities and inequalities (via slack neurons) and continuously tracks the ...

Energy of Photons in Expanding Spacetime: Comparing FLRW and Conformal Cosmology Metrics
We investigate the behaviour of photons in Riemann spacetime, focusing on how their velocity and energy are affected by cosmic expansion. Specifically, we examine the differences in energy conservation depending on the cosmological model.

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

The stability criteria affecting the formation of high‐entropy alloys, particularly focusing in supersaturated solid solutions produced by mechanical alloying, are analyzed. Criteria based on Hume–Rothery rules are distinguished from those derived from thermodynamic relations. The formers are generally applicable to mechanically alloyed samples.

Bistable Mechanisms 3D Printing for Mechanically Programmable Vibration Control
This work introduces a 3D‐printed bistable mechanism integrated into tuned mass dampers (TMDs) for mechanically adaptive passive vibration suppression. Through optimized geometry, the bistable design provides adaptable vibration reduction across a broad range of scenarios, achieving effective vibration mitigation without complex controls or external ...

Dynamic Precipitation during High‐Pressure Torsion of a Magnesium–Manganese Alloy
An ultrafine‐grained alloy is produced by high‐pressure torsion of solutionized Mg–1.35 wt% Mn. Precipitation of nanometer‐scale Mn particles during deformation provides pinning sites. This prevents the formation of a bimodal grain structure and results in a finer grain size than for pure Mg.
