A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Deployment Optimization of UAV Relays for Collecting Data From Sensors: A Potential Game Approach

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Due to the high maneuverability of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), a cluster of UAVs is considered used to collect sensing data from the sensors that distributed randomly in an area without the terrestrial infrastructure.

Characterization of Defect Distribution in an Additively Manufactured AlSi10Mg as a Function of Processing Parameters and Correlations with Extreme Value Statistics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Predicting extreme defects in additive manufacturing remains a key challenge limiting its structural reliability. This study proposes a statistical framework that integrates Extreme Value Theory with advanced process indicators to explore defect–process relationships and improve the estimation of critical defect sizes. The approach provides a basis for

Game-Theoretic Cooperative Task Allocation for Multiple-Mobile-Robot Systems

open access: yesVehicles
This study investigates the task allocation problem for multiple mobile robots in complex real-world scenarios. To address this challenge, a distributed game-theoretic approach is proposed to enable collaborative decision-making.

Experimental Evaluation of 100Cr6 Steel Microindented Surfaces Under Lubricated Nonconformal Point Contacts

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

Achievable Throughput Analysis and Channel Access in Energy Harvesting Cognitive Radio Sensor Network

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, we consider an energy harvesting cognitive radio sensor network (EH-CRSN), which is composed of multiple secondary users (sensor nodes) opportunistically access licensed channels. We first propose a novel single-sink EH-CRSN and derive its

A Shared-Constraint Approach to Multi-leader Multi-follower Games

open access: yes, 2013
Multi-leader multi-follower games are a class of hierarchical games in which a collection of leaders compete in a Nash game constrained by the equilibrium conditions of another Nash game amongst the followers.

Electrochemical Evaluation of Compressed Selective Laser Melted AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg Alloys in Chloride Environment

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...
