Data-Driven Assessment of Potentially Inappropriate Medication in the Elderly
Multimorbid patients taking polypharmacy represent a growing population at high risk for inappropriate prescribing. Various lists for identifying potentially inappropriate medication are spread across scientific journals and difficult to access. To address this ongoing need, a new database named PIMBase is developed which integrates these well-known ...

SAT1‐Induced Spermidine Depletion Potentiates Food Allergy
Spermidine depletion, driven by upregulated spermidine/spermine N1‐acetyltransferase (SAT1), potentiates food allergy by promoting mast cell degranulation through autophagy suppression. SAT1 physically interacts with the long noncoding RNA Cdk19os to inhibit Atg5 and Atg7, disrupting autophagic flux.

Bioenergetic Materials for Tissue Regeneration: Modulating Metabolism to Promote Cellular Anabolism
Bioenergetic materials (BEMs) modulate cellular metabolism to promote tissue regeneration. Their principal mechanisms of action include metabolic substrate supplementation, metabolic enzyme modulation, organelle transfer, electrical current regulation, redox homeostasis modulation, and oxygen tension modulation.

An engineered allosteric biosensor (UUU‐DZ‐tFNA) was developed, in which UDG specifically recognizes and activates a DNAzyme to achieve signal cycle amplification in a sequentially activatable mode. UUU‐DZ‐tFNA achieves in situ UDG detection across multiple biological levels and facilitates risk stratification and drug resistance monitoring of NB ...
