Abstract Fossil micrometeorites (MMs) recovered from lithified sedimentary rocks, particularly iron‐rich (I‐type) cosmic spherules (CSs) provide valuable insights into past dust‐forming events. Their abundances, when combined with estimates of local sedimentation rates can be used to reconstruct the flux of extraterrestrial dust.

OsSTK‐Mediated Sakuranetin Biosynthesis and Carbon Flux Orchestrate Growth and Defence in Rice
ABSTRACT Plants balance resource energy allocation between growth and immunity to ensure survival and reproduction under limited availability. This study reveals that rice cultivars with elevated sucrose levels boost resistance to the fungal pathogen Magnaporthe oryzae by accumulating the phytoalexin sakuranetin, regulated by the transcription factor ...

Numerical Investigation of Laser Path on Residual Stresses in the Laser Powder Bed Fusion Process
ABSTRACT Residual stress development in laser powder bed fusion (LPBF) manufacturing significantly affects part quality and dimensional accuracy. However, the influence of laser scanning strategies on thermal evolution and stress formation remains poorly understood for multi‐layer processing. An extended finite difference method framework was developed

Mechanical Behavior and Damage Evolution in Additively Manufactured Spinodoids
ABSTRACT This research focuses on the mechanical behavior and damage evolution of additively manufactured spinodoid metamaterials under quasi‐static loading. Additive manufacturing (AM), especially laser powder bed fusion (LPBF), enables the fabrication of complex geometries from digital models and is particularly suited for architected materials like ...
