Preparation and magnetic properties of novel hybrid magnetic powder cores
Materials Research Innovations, 2014AbstractMagnetic powder cores are an important kind of soft magnetic materials that are widely used in various electrical and magnetic devices. In this work, high performance hybrid magnetic powder cores have been prepared by compacting silicon resin coated soft magnetic composite (SMC) powders.

Magnetic Properties of Composite Amorphous Powder Cores
MRS Proceedings, 1986AbstractComposite amorphous powder core made by field-annealing with new insulations could improve the high frequency AC magnetic and mechanical properties. All of the amorphous ribbons with composition Fe78B16Si5C and Fe40Ni38Mo4B17Si were annealed at temperature higher than their embrittlement temperature but lower than the crystallization ...

Powdered iron cores for RF magnetics
Proceedings: Electrical Insulation Conference and Electrical Manufacturing and Coil Winding Conference (Cat. No.99CH37035), 2003Investigations were made to determine what are the effects of varying specific materials and conditions during manufacturing of powdered iron magnetic cores on the initial permeability and Q of the core. Discussions are limited to core material mixes used for RF frequency applications.

Magnetic Properties of Nanocrystalline Powder Cores Using Mechanically Crushed Powders
Journal of Iron and Steel Research International, 2014Toroidal shape FeCuNbSiB nanocrystalline alloy powder cores were prepared by cold pressing using mechanically crushed and ball-milled powders, respectively. The morphologies and their effects on the magnetic properties of the compacted cores were investigated.

Influence of various powder fabrication methods on magnetic properties of powder cores
Powder Metallurgy, 2013Fe78·4Si9·5B9Cu0·6Nb2·5 alloy powder cores were made from powders prepared by the pulverisation of crystallised ribbons, atomisation and high energy ball milling after atomisation. The results showed that the saturation magnetisation of the three powders showed negligible variation. The coercivity was found to be strongly affected by the microstructure

Magnetic properties of nanocrystalline powder cores fabricated by mechanically crushed powders
Journal of Iron and Steel Research International, 2015Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si15.5B7 nanocrystalline powder cores with different particle sizes ranging from 10 to 125 µm were fabricated by cold-pressing techniques. The cores exhibited increased core loss Pcv and decreased initial permeability µi with addition of fine powders below 50 µm in size, and the content should be less than 40 mass%.

Short Fiber Reinforced Magnetic Powder Cores
1985Short fiber reinforced magnetic powder cores were investigated. The powder cores were made of iron powders and insulating resin by a compression molding process. Aramide fiber (Kevlar) chopped strand reinforced cores show very tough characteristics compared with those made without the fiber, and also show that they have suitable magnetic properties for
