Power-law fluid flow development in a porous channel

1986
Developing power-law fluid flow in a straight porous channel is studied by an improved momentum-energy-integral method. Closed-form expressions for boundary layer development and pressure drop have been presented. Analysis predicts that fluid injection reduces the length of the developing region considerably.
