A Simple Proof of the Entropy-Power Inequality via Properties of Mutual Information
While most useful information theoretic inequalities can be deduced from the basic properties of entropy or mutual information, Shannon's entropy power inequality (EPI) seems to be an exception: available information theoretic proofs of the EPI hinge on ...

Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

In this paper, we have established some new Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer type of inequalities by using κ–Riemann–Liouville fractional integrals. Moreover, we have derived two new integral identities as auxiliary results.

Geometric inequalities from phase space translations [PDF]
We establish a quantum version of the classical isoperimetric inequality relating the Fisher information and the entropy power of a quantum state. The key tool is a Fisher information inequality for a state which results from a certain convolution ...

Sharp Power Mean Bounds for the One-Parameter Harmonic Mean
We present the best possible parameters and such that the double inequality holds for all and with , where and and are the power and one-parameter harmonic means of and , respectively.

3D porous carbons with tunable density are crucial for energy storage, separations, and load‐bearing applications; however, their fabrication is often constrained by shrinkage during pyrolysis. This study optimizes and demonstrates the versatility of a template–coating pair strategy, producing materials that largely retain their shape and hierarchical ...

Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer-Type Inequalities for Three-Times Differentiable Functions
In this study, an integral identity is given in order to present some Hermite–Hadamard–Mercer-type inequalities for functions whose powers of the absolute values of the third derivatives are convex.
