In this paper, a reliable power-over-fiber system is presented, which is able to adjust the optical power automatically corresponding to the variance of the output load.

OCEANS 2017 - Aberdeen, 2017A Power-over-fiber extension for an existing fixed seabed observatory is presented in this contribution. The system is characterized by its versatility in respect to the sensors with which it can operate. Turbidimetry tests and results are presented.
