Discovery of an Energetic Pulsar Associated with SNR G76.9+1.0 [PDF]
We report the discovery of PSR J2022+3842, a 24 ms radio and X-ray pulsar in the supernova remnant G76.9+1.0, in observations with the Chandra X-ray telescope, the Robert C. Byrd Green Bank Radio Telescope, and the Rossi X-ray Timing Explorer (RXTE). The

Power-to-X Electroscrubbing Parameter Analysis for Biogas Desulfurization
A new power-to-X desulfurization technology has been examined. The technology uses only electricity to oxidize the hydrogen sulfide (H2S) found in biogas to elemental sulfur. The process works by using a scrubber where the biogas comes into contact with a chlorine containing liquid. This process is capable of removing close to 100% of H2S in biogas. In

Integration of water electrolysis facilities in power grids: A case study in northern Germany
This work presents a study of the effects that integration of electrolysis facilities for Power-to-X processes have on the power grid. The novel simulation setup combines a high-resolution grid optimization model and a detailed scheduling model for ...

High Temperature Co‐electrolysis for Power‐to‐X [PDF]
AbstractHigh temperature solid oxide cells are attractive electrochemical reactors to perform simultaneous reduction of steam and CO2 into syngas with the possibility of delivering a tailored composition to downstream processes. The main thermodynamic considerations, performance and impedance curves of electrolyte supported cells in co‐electrolysis are
