Parabiosis, Assembloids, Organoids (PAO)

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review evaluates parabiosis, organoids, and assembloids as complementary disease models spanning systemic, organ, and multi‐organ levels. It highlights their construction strategies, applications, and current limitations, while emphasizing their integration with frontier technologies such as artificial intelligence, organ‐on‐a‐chip, CRISPR, and ...

Power Efficient Core Allocation

open access: yes
Modern telecommunication systems are shifting towards utilizing commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware systems instead of relying on dedicated hardware solutions, necessitating efficient power saving strategies. This thesis presents a method for power gating idle processor cores in the form of a Linux kernel module and a controller which dynamically ...

Microglial Fkbp5 Impairs Post‐Stroke Vascular Integrity and Regeneration by Promoting Yap1‐Mediated Glycolysis and Oxidative Phosphorylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A post‐stroke perivascular niche of microglia characterized by low expression of M2 markers and elevated glycolysis, oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), and phagocytic activity is identified, which is termed stroke‐activated vascular‐associated microglia (stroke‐VAM).

Metabolic Reprogramming of T Cells by Dual UCP2 and IL‐17 Blockade Enhances Immunity Against Pancreatic Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that dual UCP2/IL‐17 blockade reprograms T‐cell metabolism to overcome PDAC immunosuppression. Genipin‐mediated UCP2 inhibition enhances CD8⁺ T‐cell IFN‐γ via IL‐12R/STAT4/mTOR signaling and mitochondrial OXPHOS. Combined IL‐17 depletion amplifies Tc1/Th1 responses, reduces MDSCs, and prolongs survival in PDAC models ...
