Power analysis in dermatohistopathology
Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, 1985Magnification of histologic and ultrastructural photoimages is frequently misrepresented in published reports. "Power," P, the usual mode of representation of magnification, is defined as the ratio of the distance between two points on the photoimage to that between the same two points on the original specimen, but is idiomatically denoted as xP rather

Nursing Forum, 2020
Using Walker and Avant's theory construction strategy, a concept analysis of power was conducted. Within the nursing literature, there exists a dialectic between types of power: power to vs. power over. This dialectic covers a wide range between goal attainment and powerlessness.

INTERVAL ANALYSIS IN POWER ELECTRONICS
Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers, 1995The use of Interval Analysis for numerical simulation of power electronic circuits is discussed in this paper. It is shown that Interval Analysis is an optimal tool for such kind of applications since switching circuits operate upon sequences of time intervals bounded by instants that are zeros of non-linear non-monotonic functions.

Power Analysis Attacks and Countermeasures
IEEE Design & Test of Computers, 2007This article focuses on power analysis attacks because they have received by far the most attention in recent years. They are powerful and can be executed relatively easily. This article provides an introduction to these attacks and discusses countermeasures against them.

This paper follows the Walker & Avant approach to concept analysis of the concept of power For the purposes of the paper, power was defined as the actual or potential ability or capacity to achieve objectives through an interpersonal process in which the goals and means to achieve the goals are mutually established and worked toward The distinction

Delay-power performance analysis
ICECS'99. Proceedings of ICECS '99. 6th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (Cat. No.99EX357), 2003Based on an incremental path search algorithm, this paper addresses the problem of low power performance driven path classification by sizing selected gates on the shortest and the longest identified paths of the circuit. Delay and power/area constraints are managed using circuit path sizing alternatives defined through a realistic evaluation of gate ...

In this paper we design abstract domains for numerical power analysis. These domains are conceived to discover properties of the following type: "The integer (or rational) variable X at a given program point is the numerical power of c with the exponent having a given property π", where c and π are automatically determined.
