Diode-pumped Yb:YLF chirped-pulse regenerative amplifier for high average power operation
SPIE Proceedings, 200560 mJ chirped-pulse power was obtained using a diode-pumped regenerative amplifier with a cooled Yb:YLF crystal at 20 Hz repetition rate. Efficient High-Average-Power Operation of Q-Switched Cryogenic Yb:YAG Laser Oscillator
Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 2005We have demonstrated a cryogenically cooled Q-switched Yb:YAG laser oscillator in a diode pump. A high average power of 74 W was obtained with a pulse energy of several mJ. The optical–optical efficiency was as high as 60%. The spatial beam profile was excellent at M 2<1.4 with no additional compensation optics.

2.5 MW average-power crossatron switch operation in a square-wave modulator circuit
IEEE Conference Record of the 1988 Eighteenth Power Modulator Symposium, 2003The demonstrated average-power-modulating capability of the XTRON-4b crossatron switch has been advanced to 2.5 MW at average current. Tests are described in which the switch was integrated into a simple square-wave, resistive-load modulator circuit consisting of a 10 MW power supply, a capacitor bank, and a water-tank load.
