A Stochastic Geometry-based Demand Response Management Framework for Cellular Networks Powered by Smart Grid

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, the production decisions across multiple energy suppliers in smart grid, powering cellular networks are investigated. The suppliers are characterized by different offered prices and pollutant emissions levels.

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

CDK11 inhibition induces cytoplasmic p21WAF1 splice variant by p53 stabilisation and SF3B1 inactivation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
CDK11 inhibition stabilises the tumour suppressor p53 and triggers the production of an alternative p21WAF1 splice variant p21L, through the inactivation of the spliceosomal protein SF3B1. Unlike the canonical p21WAF1 protein, p21L is localised in the cytoplasm and has reduced cell cycle‐blocking activity.

Dombi power partitioned Heronian mean operators of q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers for multiple attribute group decision making.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2019
In this paper, a set of Dombi power partitioned Heronian mean operators of q-rung orthopair fuzzy numbers (qROFNs) are presented, and a multiple attribute group decision making (MAGDM) method based on these operators is proposed.

High-average-power operation of a pulsed Raman fiber amplifier at 1686 nm

open access: yesOptics Express, 2015
We report on high-average-power operation of a pulsed Raman fiber amplifier at ~1686 nm which cannot be covered by rare-earth-doped fiber lasers. The Raman fiber amplifier was pumped by a home-made 1565.2 nm Q-switched Er,Yb fiber laser and worked at a repetition frequency of 184 kHz.

Methylation biomarkers can distinguish pleural mesothelioma from healthy pleura and other pleural pathologies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed and validated a DNA methylation–based biomarker panel to distinguish pleural mesothelioma from other pleural conditions. Using the IMPRESS technology, we translated this panel into a clinically applicable assay. The resulting two classifier models demonstrated excellent performance, achieving high AUC values and strong diagnostic accuracy.

Single-Valued Neutrosophic Power Shapley Choquet Average Operators and Their Applications to Multi-Criteria Decision-Making

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
Single-valued neutrosophic sets (SVNSs), which involve in truth-membership, indeterminacy-membership and falsity-membership, play a significant role in describing the decision-makers’ preference information.

Lightcone renormalization and quantum quenches in one-dimensional Hubbard models

open access: yes, 2012
The Lieb-Robinson bound implies that the unitary time evolution of an operator can be restricted to an effective light cone for any Hamiltonian with short-range interactions.

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Interval-valued T-spherical fuzzy extended power aggregation operators and their application in multi-criteria decision-making

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Systems
As an effective tool to show the fuzziness of qualitative information, the interval-valued T-spherical fuzzy set can utilize three kinds of information, namely, membership, abstinence, and non-membership, to show the opinions of decision-maker.
