Handbook of Establishing and Maintaining Oxygen‐Free Atmospheres
This study presents a practical framework for creating oxygen‐free atmospheres at ambient pressure using silane‐doped inert gases. The results show that ultra‐low oxygen levels and strongly reduced water content can be achieved through controlled silane dosing, drying systems, and sensor monitoring.

Rates and Beaming Angles of Gamma-Ray Bursts Associated with Compact Binary Coalescences
Some, if not all, binary neutron star (BNS) coalescences, and a fraction of neutron star–black hole (NSBH) mergers, are thought to produce sufficient mass ejection to power gamma-ray bursts (GRBs).

This paper introduces an agile phased array calibration strategy for wireless powering large-scale battery-less sensor networks. The calibration strategy compensates for the systematic phase errors in the transmitter (TX) panel and wavefront traveling ...

Precession-induced Variability in AGN Jets and OJ 287
The combined study of the flaring of active galactic nuclei (AGNs) at radio wavelengths and parsec-scale jet kinematics with Very Long Baseline Interferometry has led to the view that (i) the observed flares are associated with ejections of synchrotron ...

Thermomechanical fatigue tests of laser beam powder bed fusion (PBF‐LB) Inconel 718 show that the additively manufactured material reaches almost the lifetimes of conventionally‐rolled material under no‐dwell conditions. Introducing dwell times at the maximum temperature markedly reduces the lifetimes due to pronounced grain boundary sliding associated

We investigate the energetics of the jet and X-ray corona of Cyg X-1. We show that the current estimates of the jet power obtained from Halpha and [O III] measurements of the optical nebula surrounding the X-ray source allow one to constrain the bulk ...

The kinetic energy of bulk relativistic plasma ejected from the central engine of blazars is converted into nonthermal particle energy in the comoving frame through a process of sweeping up material from the surrounding medium. The resulting deceleration

Effect of Laser Deoxidation on Adhesive‐Bonded Aluminum in an Oxygen‐Free Atmosphere
This study investigates laser ablation of aluminum under oxygen‐free conditions. The goal is to produce oxide‐free substrates that enable improved adhesive bonding with epoxy. Optimized laser parameters (90% overlap, 300 µJ) combined with oxide‐free substrates result in the highest tensile strength of the adhesive bond.

In several GRBs afterglows, rapid temporal decay is observed which is inconsistent with spherical (isotropic) blast-wave models. In particular, GRB 980519 had the most rapidly fading of the well-documented GRB afterglows, with t^{-2.05\pm 0.04} in ...

This study investigates laser‐based oxide removal of Cu inserts in oxygen‐free conditions and examines long‐term oxidation kinetics and surface chemistry under different atmospheres via X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Al–Cu compound casting with differently oxidized surfaces is performed, and intermetallic phase formation, morphology, and thermal ...
