Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Adaptive fault recovery strategy of LCC‐MMC based hybrid HVDC
Hybrid HVDC consisting of line commutated converter (LCC) on rectifier side and modular multilevel converter (MMC) on inverter side is the favourable future trend of HVDC projects utilising the advantages of both converter technologies.

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Novel high voltage gain dc–dc converter with dynamic analysis
This study proposes a non‐isolated dc–dc converter based on a coupled inductor and switch‐capacitor–boosting techniques. The goal of the proposed topology is to increase the voltage gain with low‐duty cycle, so voltage stresses are decreased across power

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

A novel single‐phase five‐level hybrid rectifier using two active switches
A novel single‐phase five‐level rectifier based on two active switches is presented. The proposed novel circuit topology, with two active switches and a split dc‐link, can produce a distinct five‐level voltage with a reduced number of active switches ...
